Pseudo-Bhutanese?

In this era of world in flux, evolution in Bhutanese DNA became no exception. Bhutanese DNA interprets the fundamental and distinctive qualities of typical Bhutanese, inherited from respected mother ancestors. With the lists of Bhutanese identity being on its verge to direct towards wrong road, fragmentation of national language (Dzongkha) is on the spike. Responsible citizen who speaks pure Dzongkha can be numbered yet the numbers are fathomless who speaks fragmented Dzongkha. Yuck! Aren't we preparing to be called "Pseudo-Bhutanese"? It is an alarming issue to feel the pinch of worrisome by all.

Use of fragmented language has ironically became the measure of pride in the blood of Bhutanese society and is cared less at this atmosphere. Our enzymic local languages and english began to bind to the words of Dzongkha and induces crippled language. 'Sabji ngyo wa jo yi', 'Bazaar jo yi', and lists goes on. Use of english words like 'boring' and 'call' left Bhutanese with an induced habitual to use it to say 'Boring thoen yi', 'Call wong dhay' and many more, you may name it. Time might come when our people don't know the exact terms for many Dzongkha words.

Despite Indian PM Modi's fluency in English, he would rather opt to speak his country's language (Hindi) with much pride in every visit to foreign dignitaries. Developed countries like in Japan, Japanese speaks their own language and are not dependent on any other language. Country's language is country's pride and it settles citizen's sense of grounding and roots to the soil of nation.
