The book titled, 'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini delves the readers to Amirs life of mystery and unfolds his chapters of life with the uncertain tick of time. The author had got his book beautifully riddled with the quest and turns in relation of Amir with Hassan and other folks in his very periphery like his Baba, Soraya, a wife and Sohrab, an adopted son of Amir.
Amir greets this world as his mom bids final wave. He begins his infancy under the roof of his only dad as a single parent. To run and to win the kite is his first, second and third aspiration-the only aspiration as it demands the aspiration of two beings. Of himself and his Baba. He hopes to bond his relation with Baba by winning the kite run as he was with a parasitic notion that his Baba hates him for killing dads lover, the mom.
Hassan shares loyal Friendship with Amir and promises him to win his kite fight. As Amir wins the kite fight, Hassan undergoes tragic trauma on the verge of helping Amir. However, Amir stands still merely watching his poor friend, Hassan being assault and raped. Their years of friendship shatters after that incident not because Hassan takes grudge but Amir finds reason to ignore and create gap in between.
Amir want to forget his ex-friend Hassan and get away for long enough to forget and be forgotten. Whereby, Amir's Baba had to fire Hassan and his dad as Amir frames drama to accuse Hassan of theft. Not very long after that, Amir and his Baba flees to America selling their luxurious house and properties to his Baba's friend, Rahim khan.
Amir becomes novelist and gets married to Soraya in America. His Baba dies and being many years in America, once he receives invitation from Rahim khan to visit his ex-home in Afghanistan. Whereupon Amir feels like a tourist getting back to his country. Rahim khan reveals every bitter truth about his life that does sound foreign to him.
He came to know that Hassan was his half brother that his Baba preoccupied his mind with Hassan as their servant's son. Amir and his wife adapts Sohrab, a son of Hassan and takes him with them to America. Amir realizes, Baba loved Amir and Hassan equally but differently.
After the unfolded series of bygone chronicles about Amir's family. For Amir to go around saying it is not his fault was absolutely puerile to vindicate himself. However, he lives a life of guilt and tries to mend those mistakes and learn to be good again.
