When Breath Becomes Air~Dr. Paul Kalanithi

"Life is merely an "instant" too brief to consider"~Dr. Paul Kalanithi
Four worded title "When Breath Becomes Air" brewed nagging sense that nurtured the growing apppetite for my keen to delve to read. It gave me the tip of an iceberg information that extended the spiralled golden ink of paul Kalanithi's pen. He created his own prophecy to be a writer, a neurosurgeon, and a neuroscientist. However his career flickered like the stick of matches and ceased to light, when he was diagnosed with the breeding of cancerous cells in his lungs. This book contains unpretentiously breeded memoir piles of pages and is a non-fiction book.

If I am to extract the silver lining summary from the gathered jots of an author: Paul Kalanithi lives a life of urgency that he got to race against his calculated days due to the multiplication of cancerous cells in his lungs and new tumors in his brain to make it odd worse. He transits his life as a doctor to a patient and becomes very fragile.  The claws of cancer snatched his dreams and dumped his multi-professions in vain.

Initially, Paul is a doctor who carries a herioc spirit of responsibility amid pain and blood of patients. Yet, a cancer dared to infect him despite his exceptional profession where the death, so familiar to him at his work, pays a personal visit to him. He lives his life in such a way that the nearing of death feared him less. He proves the alternate name of death, 'rest in peace' by dying in peace with the well established purpose during his stay.

This book alters new view of the world to a reader as it lenses us through the unrealized fact that "Time is the very little thing that we have very little of". It can be a renewal app one can have from this book to inject the value in one's life. I understood from this book only in my capacity as, "Incidences in life may alter our flow and no one can stop the clock not to reveal our destined stuff".

I got into his shoes and walked a bit by reading his reflected jots. So, shall you read and walk his life a little further and say, that is how it looks like from Paul's breath becoming air.
