A Good Read: "Memories of Midnight"~Sidney Sheldon

The golden spiralling words of Sidney Sheldon in the "Memories of Midnight" has an essence of hypnotic charm with mysterious portrayal of tragedy bound to face by Catherine Douglas, Melina and other lads around the periphery of Constantin Demiris (AKA Costa). Author had his book as an oaisis of mystery and tragedy revealing the culprit as an unsuspected doer. This book courses readers through the canal of clumsy awakening memories of Catherine Douglas and treacherous framed secrets of Costa to camouflauge his crime with other innocent lads.

Catherine was retrieved from the submerged boat in lake by Theresa's two sisters and rescued. All she can remember is the ephemeral information in bits and pieces in her mere dreams. Her memories are clouded with amnesia and she remembers very less about her bygone days. World was framed to believe that she was murdered by her husband, Larry Douglas and his mistress, Noelle until the unfolded manipulation of Costa's evil hand.

Costa is blessed with a cherismatic power roofing the law of Greece under his cruel manipulation being a Greek shipping tycoon. Costa mask his cruel nature with kindness and takes  Catherine in Greece and employs her to work for his office in London with an intend to have her death in the shadow of his evil smart. Costa plans revenge on her, for her husband Larry's relation with Costa's crush, Noelle. Catherine undergoes trauma as she was conveyed the attempt to murder by her husband, Larry Douglas and his mistress, Noelle. They were executed for the cause of her life with murder. While the hidden truth was Costa prosecuted and made guilty by tricking them with his lawyer Napolean Chostas. 

Costa finds his right fit in Melina to be his life companion. Spyrous Lambrou, is the brother of Melina who is the renowed business tycoon after Costa. He grew hatred against Costa for awful treating of Melina. Costa wanted to have a divorce with Melina as she had a miscarriage and could never bear a child. Melina commits suicide in order to take revenge on her husband, Costa. She frames Costa for her murder. whereupon Costa already knew Melina's framed game. However Costa is found guilty and put behind bar till prosecution.  

Tony Rizzolli becomes the target of police for his business in the dealing of drugs and antiques. He finds that escaping out from the city could only be possible with the union of his partnership with Lambrou. Lambrou takes this as an oppurtunity to ruin Costa by persuading Tony to make a deal with Costa but Costa plays a clever game drowning the Tony in the sea. 

One time Catherine sees the death of her co worker, Kirk Reynolds and finds her new love suit in psyciatrist Alan Hamilton, when she visits to mention about her nighmare giving vague information on her attempt to murder by Costa. Along with 3 men sent by Costa, who come to study the operations at London, there is a boy, who was innocent and focussed in his work. Costa orders the murder of Catherine. Catherine, reveals everything to Alan about her suspicion on 3 men to murder her anytime. But, she faces the little guy who worked with them gets hold of her and ties her to a boiler which would explode and the whole building could collapse.

What happens next is beyond fascinating. So, shall you start to grab the book and begin flipping the pages of "Memories of Midnight."
